EXPECTATIONS

1. Be on Time: Be ready and stretched at the time that the practice starts

2. Communication: Talk and ask questions

A. The player should contact the coach if you are going to miss a practice.

3. Bus rides: Each player must ride to the game and home from the game on the bus. In special circumstances players can go home with parents only if the parent emails Mr. Mader, Mr. Koenig and your coach prior to the game and get a confirmation email back approving the situation.

4. Playing Time: Playing time is based on work ethic, fitness, performance at practice and in games, athleticism, technical skill, and attitude. Playing time is not equal for all players.

A. If a player wants to increase playing time then they need to set up a meeting to talk with the coach. Do this at practice and not after games.

B. If a parent would like to discuss playing time, they can set up a meeting with the coach and the player.(player must be present)

5. Attitude: Each player is expected to come to practice every day and compete. They need a good attitude. An attitude that will bring down the team morale is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

6. Academics: Players first priority is school. Study hard. Do your homework.

7. Role: Know your role on the team. Work to improve. Ask how you can change your role to increase playing time. Support your teammates while on the field, on the bench, or at practice.
